Tuck is a main character that first appeared in the Series premiere..He is portrayed by Ricardo Hurtado.

Season 1[]

In Crazy, there is a bad storm hitting the Haywood ranch, when there’s a knock at the door. Tuck ends up answering the door, thinking that the lady at the door is their new nanny. In his usual self, he flirts with her. Eventually the kids let her know that if she stays as their nanny, Bailey would be nanny #10. This horrifies her and Bailey asks the kids what is wrong with them to have gone through nine nannies. Tuck is quick to say it’s all because of Cassidy, their younger sister, who has anger issues.

Cassidy takes one look at Bailey and then looks at her brothers. She then tells them that they are not hiring her just because they all think that she’s hot. Bailey asks Tuck and Brody if it's true that they think that she is hot, and they both say she’s smoking hot. In return, she tells them that it means so much to her that they think she’s hot.

Not long after, a tornado warning comes in and the kids go running into the basement.

In the basement and all of the sudden a pole comes through the window and Tuck with the help of his brothers rush to cover the window with a tarp. In an effort to take everyone’s mind off the tornado, Bailey grabs a nearby guitar and uses it to start singing.

Everyone starts grabbing instruments and singing along. Although Summer doesn’t grab an instrument, she does start singing along with everyone else.

After Cassidy runs into the room with the guitar in her hands, Tuck starts arguing with his dad about how Cassidy was being unfair to the rest of the family and how the family has to listen to her rules. He also states how he and his siblings also lost their mama and not just Cassidy.

Sometime after the storm has passed, Tuck is quick to reasurre Bailey that she can be both their nanny, while working towards her dreaming of becoming a singer.

In Teardrops on My Guitar, the kids make their way downstairs and are excited over the food. Summer’s not liking the fact that they are talking to Bailey, and that the boys want to impress her. Tuck in particular comes in with a white tank top as he tries to show his muscles and flirting with Bayley, As he makes his way to leave, he is quick to flex his arms.

After Bailey's audition, she calls the boys when Cassidy's guitar goes missing. She calls the boys for help, but Dylan is worried about Bailey’s audition, while Tuck is worried about helping Bailey cause he has a crush on her, and Brody is just freaking out. In spite of not having his driver's licence because he failed his test, Tuck takes the truck and drives with Brody on the passenger side. In the end, the boys don’t end up helping her because they get caught by the cops. Bailey’s phone dies, and Beau finds out that something is up when he has to come get the kids from the cops.

Despite Tuck's protest and the rest of his siblings, Bailey ends up getting fired as their nanny.

In Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign, The Haywoods are in the kitchen getting ready for the wedding of Summer's little sister, Abigail. But Chloe complains that it never hurt when Bayley did her hair. Beau reminds her that Bailey doesn’t work for them anymore because she was irresponsible and has bad judgement. Just as Beau tells them to stop talking about Bailey, Tuck asks the other if it’s just him, or does it smell like Bailey. He eventually realizes it’s Brody, who used Bailey’s perfume on himself. Brody explains that it was just a squirt from the bottle of perfume Bailey left behind, and that he only did it because he misses her. Eventually, the kids see Bailey in their house, who had used the spare key Beau gave her to take the rest of her stuff with her. The kids run to her and hug her in excitement.

As they wait for the bride to show up to her own wedding, the preacher asks if anyone would like to come up to give their testimony about the lord. Brody and Tuck over going up front to sing a song to Sarah Beth, the Mayor’s daughter. But eventually Tuck wins out, and sings a song that all the girls and a guy in an IZOD enjoy.

After Chloe gives Brody a pep talk, so he doesn’t give up without a fight, Brody jumps in while Tuck starts to sing his second song. The two end up dueting in an effort to one up the other.

In My Girl, when Dylan and Tucker arrive back home, Dylan tells them Jo asked Tuck out. Brody is crushed and as usual Tucker is oblivious. Bailey tells him that Brody likes Jo and Tucker makes this big show about how he’s gonna back off.

Unfortunately, when the whole family gets to the barn, they all end up seeing Tuck and Jo smooching inside the barn.

In Blue, Two months later, and the boys are still fighting over Jo, with Brody being pissed at his older brother. Tucker is trying to act as if he’s the victim and Jo was the one that kissed him. Only Tucker, we all saw you kissing her too Tuck.

Despite Beau's best efforts, Brody and Tuck are still fighting over the kiss between Tucker and Jo. Beau says they aren’t handling it right, so he's taking them to the archery range, where he will solve the issue. Beau says that he knows that Brody will win.

When Brody and Tuck get home, Brody is in a sling. Brody states that Tuck stabbed him in the heart by kissing his crush and then he literally tried to stab him in the heart with an archery arrow.

In the process of LeAnn Rimes singing, Brody and Tuck hug it and out, and in the end, everyone finishes the night by all singing Can’t Fight The Moonlight.

In Summer Lovin', Brody and Tuck have a double date with Lorraine and her cousin Luanne. But Beau ends up telling them that because he will be away, he doesn't want them going out. As a result, Tuck and Brody seemingly cancel their dates.

Brody is upset over having to cancel the date, but Tuck always has a plan and says dates are coming over. He promised that they wouldn’t go out, but not that the dates couldn’t come in.

While looking for their dad’s cologne, Tuck finds it missing from the medicine cabinet, and comes to the conclusion he is at Summer’s place as their father only wears his cologne when he is around Summer.

Eventually, Lorainne and her cousin show up. Bailey wants to talk to the boys because she is angry that they lied. Tuck however is quick to point out how Beau and her lied to them first. He also reveals that they figured out that he is at Summer's. When confronted, the boys admit to blackmailing Bailey into not tell on them, because they want to spend some quality time with their dates.

Later, the boys are singing to the girls in the barn and Brody is dancing for them.

Eventually, he and the rest of his family end up confronting his dad about why he felt the need to lie to them. Once they leave him at Summer's, he takes his dad's cologne without him knowing.

In You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You, Tuck insists that Beau has told them before that when someone gets in trouble, you get involved. But Beau states that is only about family, but the kids counter that by saying that Bailey is family. But in the end, they can’t go and get Bailey, and they will just have to let her do her thing.

He is quick to sing alongside the rest of his family to Kelly Clarkson's Stronger, to cheer Bailey end up, when Boone hurts her once more.

Later that night, the Haywoods (including Bailey) go out to Tootsies, and while Bailey is performing, Tuck like the rest of the Haywoods ends up seeing Boone propose to Bailey.

In Back in the Saddle Again, the next day, Tuck admits that he feels bad for Boone, when they are talking about the failed proposal. Not long after, Boone shows up at the ranch and serenades Bailey, thinking that he can sweet talk her into saying yes.The kids are looking on, but she closes the window on him and says she said no.

Eventually Tuck, like the rest of his sibling, they end up approaching Summer to lent them $1,200 bucks to buy his dad a saddle that looks like the one he sold years earlier.

At the surprise party, Beau is overtaken by the kids present and they then tell him that they couldn’t have done it without Summer.

In You Matter to Me, since it’s Bailey’s big day, the kids really want to be there for her. Unfortunately, Tuck is as sick as a dog, and Bailey tells him to go away because she needs to be healthy and has this big contest going on.

Later, Tuck heads outside to meet the cute girl and breaks into song. Bailey is trying to get him back inside and the producers follow. They’ve turned off the camera and need to leave. There is a reception that night they need to film. Bailey wants to tell them so many stories, but they have turned off the cameras because well, this interview has gone bad.

Bailey knows that it is a trainwreck and she’s not afraid to admit it. The kids are also sorry because it was Bailey’s day and they somehow managed to make it about themselves. Boone says it wasn’t that bad. Bailey is mad and doesn’t believe that they would do this to her.

In Bless the Broken Road,the kids want to be supportive of Bailey, but they can’t imagine a life without her. She’s become such a big part of who they are. They want her to know that they want the best for her.

But when Cassidy reminds them that they are celebrating Bailey leaving because this means she will leave them once she gets a record contract and goes out on tour. When they see her they hug and shower her with their love.

At the concert that could make or break Bailey's dreams,Tuck is looking for Maria, but realizes she doesn’t really like him. He ends up talking to Brody and tells his brother that he should realize that he didn’t get rejected by Jo. The reality is that Jo probably didn’t know he liked her because Brody never told her.

Eventually, Tuck spills to Jo that Brody likes her. When Bailey comes out to leave, she’s called to the stage. The kids are up there, ready to support and get her through it. She’s staring at them, unsure of what to do, because she doesn’t think she can do it. But Cassidy tells her that she’s not going to let her give up on her dream because of a broken heart and when Bailey says that’s not it, Cassidy reminds her that it’s not about hers. Cassidy knows how hard it is to watch someone leave.

But these kids are going to help her leave if it does the one thing that they want for her. If it makes her happy and her dreams come true they are all in.


When Bailey takes the stage, she can’t manage to sing. But the kids started it for her and she is able to go through it.

He is flirty and sometimes comes across as only caring about himself. However, he does end up helping his younger brother Brody with girls.
